So far I have had zero luck!!

I called the 1-800 number but was basically told to pound salt. I explained the rustproofing since new, that I babied this truck, offered pics, etc, etc, etc, and all to no avail.

I just recently heard of @ramcares so I am going to try that route shortly. My 5 yrs is up but I am well below the 160,000 km warranty with only 70,000 on mine. This is maddening and not something I thought I would have a problem with.
I love the truck and everything else about it. I just wasn't expecting a 5 yr old truck, especially one that has been rustproofed since new and babied everywhere else to be rusting out so soon!
Hi Irv,

We noticed you mentioned us and wanted to jump in. Unfortunately, as we are part of the U.S.-based customer care team for FCA, we're not able to assist with Canadian vehicles. However, we do recommend continuing to speak with FCA Canada at 1-800-465-2001 regarding this if you still have concerns. They should be able to direct you to the proper group.

Irv, look at your owners manual to check the corrosion warranty. my 14 is covered for 100,000 miles but does state that sheet metal has to be perforated to be covered under warranty. if your truck is covered under the corrosion warranty, I would keep calling FCA until you reached someone that agrees to help.
FCA Customer Care and RamCares are a joke. Nothing but a runaround.

Based off those pix, that IS perforation. It starts on the inside and works its way out. If you tap that bubble with a screwdriver and get the paint off it (DONT) you will see a good sized rust hole in that fender.

You are out of warranty, it is either/or.

If it was an engine say with 7/70000 warranty and it failed in 10 yrs/but only 32000 would you expect it to be covered?

Better question yet, why isn't your rustproofing company covering it???

Technically, rustproofing can and does void the factory rust through warranty since you modified it. Same as other mods.

Not trying to be a prick here, just explaining it and I do understand your frustration. You take good care of your truck, go out of the way to add extras to protect it and then this happens.

I wish you luck, but I would also pursue the rustproofing company as they should also have a warranty.

My truck is Ziebarted and I take it in every year for a check up to keep their warranty in effect - lets hope I don't need it and if I do that it is honored.

I brought my 2015 RAM Express (purchased new May/15) and Krowned it yearly since.
This Spring I noticed a small bubble on the front passenger fender. It now looks dimpled like a golf ball and the affected area is the size of one too.
Took my RAM into the Dealer last week. They took pics and told me a new fender will be ready Feb/19 for replacement under warranty.
