I have a 2001 Ram with the 5.9 The truck has roughly 97,500 miles. It has been plauged with an intermitant check engine light and constant ABS/Brake light issue. I have tried several scanners, and none of them can communicate with the truck. My question is where is the fuse for the ecm? Is there something specific that would not allow it to communicate. I have heard of a fuse for something else being tied in as well, but can't find specifics. Not finding my answers on google like usual. I really like my truck, but is has many issues. I am starting with the biggest one and going from there.:shy:

Check Fuse #12 (10amp) in the junction block on the left side of the dash. This fuse supplies power to the Data Link Connector for the scanner. Also verify that your scanner can speak 'CanBus'. :)
