Want to do a custom box to replace the factory subwoofer, looking to get the best bang i can get from a sealed enclosure. In my 04 ram i had a ProBox under the back seats with two 10's but it couldn't compare to the ported box i built with 1-10" RE sub that sat on the back seat.

Anybody got any plans or solutions that could get me close to that spl level with a sealed box or plans for a ported box that would fit under the seat? Id like it to be out of the way, not affecting passenger space at all.

I recently heard the new Image Dynamics IDMAX15 in a center console enclosure. It was a sealed box with the 15" firing down. And YES, a 15 will fit in the center console box with appropriate air space too. The amp was an Arc Audio KS 1200.1 mono so the sub got 1200 watts. The sub is very efficient for being a 15 and got very loud in this sealed enclosure. The sub is very musical as well and had the impact of a sledge hammer. It actually is making me consider selling my two Arc Audio 12" Blacks....I want this sub.
