I am pretty sure it will, quite a few members have plasti dipped their chrome wheels on some 3rd and 4th gens, I would think for prep, just clean the wheel up real well, use soem sort of degreaser after you clean it real well, let it dry, or dry it off, then apply as directed, nice thing with it is that if it doesnt work you can always peel it off and start again.

I Plasti-dipped my chrome clad wheels. It's been about 5 months now,no peeling or chipping, very happy with it.Just give your rims a good washing.dry them.Use some rubbing alcohol, wipe them down with the alcohol until they are squeaky clean.Spray on the Plasti -Dip,I used 4 light coats(3 cans) to do mine.Make sure to use a warm well ventilated area and let the rims dry for about 12hrs before you use them......:smileup:...Rob
