Looks good and ties in with the Daytona theme nicely but why $25? Did it really take 4 cans of PD to do just a part of the hood?

Has anyone thought of using plasti dip to do the side accent pieces? Mine are faded and I was thinking this may look good. What do you all think? How hard is it to apply?

Ya it super easy man no sanding required just wash it really good and some alcohol to get it clean and than spray away ive done it all on my truck from interior, emblmes and exhuast tips

Before I go do this how durable is plastic dip? I just had the idea to tape out my Daytona decals then remove them and paint the plastic dip on because mine are getting pretty faded and Im not liking how they look and I was thinking about doing my rims also.

Disreguard my last gents. I just did my homework and its not really what Im looking for. Im looking for something that is gonna be permanent and not just gonna peel off if its it gets pulled on. I do like where it is not permanent and I can see what Im gonna pain and see what its gonna look like before I make it permanent so I will be using it for that. So I don't have a to post a new thread how do you think sanding down the clear coat with 500 or 600 grain sandpaper then painting with a flat black spray paint the decals then applying a several coats of clear over that will work or do you all think it will peel and crap later in time? I may have a color change on my truck and have it changed to black with the Daytona letters still silver maybe. I still debating on how that will look.

If you apply it correctly, it peels off pretty easy. If not put on correctly, then it peels off in pieces, like old tape.
From what I understand, you need to apply at least 4-coats so it is thick enough to peel off with less work. If the application too thin, when you try to peel it off it peels in pieces, rather than large sections.
