Pretty sure they are the fake chrome plated 20inch stock rims and then the chrome emblems. I want to plasti dip them black but I've heard not to plasti dip chrome. Will I damage the chrome? will it not remove correctly? I want to be able to remove the plasti dip later on without damage. Thanks,

Never heard that you can't dip chrome. I know on the DYC Youtube channel they do it all the time, so I'd assume that you'll be all right. Just make sure you clean it off first and degrease them so the dip sticks. Put down like 4-6 coats so you can remove it easily later, as if you don't put down enough it won't peel off.

You absolutely can dip chrome and it removes very easily. A lot of guys do it, and I have done it myself to the chrome console bezel ring:

I plasti dip my fake chrome rims to see how it would look and then took it of a couple of days later. An easy way to get it off is if you start a little spot and than get a pressure washer it will peel it off in no time.

That's a good idea, the ring on my Big Horn isn't very bright, but it reflects a lot of blinding light at times.

That's exactly why I did it, and plastidip looks similar to the rest of the black plastic in the console. It holds up well too; its been on there about half a year now. I did have to re do it once but that was because the dealer peeled part of it up when I was getting the trailer brake installed, and also because it had a couple dust nibs in it the first time and I wasn't happy with that.

You most definitely can, and it will come of relatively easy as long as you have a thick-consistent coating on whatever it is your plasti-dipping. I dipped my emblems (fake chrome) and my grille on my Mercedes. Came out nice.
