I am at my absolute wits end with this squeaking noise coming from underneath my truck...to the point where I want to trade it in. I've brought it in on 2 occasions to get looked at while I was still under warranty, but the idiots at the dealership spent like 20 minutes looking at it, hastily decided to swap out the rear traction bar and components...it did nothing to help. Now I'm no longer under warranty and it's all up to me to find it. I just moved out in the middle of nowhere and I have no friends here, so I have rely on my 5'0" 115 lbs wife to try and shake my truck to duplicate the noise....needless to say she's too small to duplicate it.

I've sprayed white lithium grease on every bushing, joint, spring that I could find, but no luck. I thought it may be brake dust, but I'm now 99% sure it isn't. It sounds like a high-pitched chirp when I go over any sort of bump or imperfection in the road. I have a beautiful 2011 ram Laramie but I'm embarrassed as hell to drive it because you can hear the chirp coming from a good distance away. Has anyone else experienced this issue? I've scoured the web looking for a solution to no avail. Please help! Thanks guys!

Btw, I do have a Bilstein leveling kit, but it started making that noise long before the new struts and shocks we're put on.

This may sound completely stupid and help you in no way, but I had a similar problem where on my 2005 ram 1500 it would squeak every time I hit a bump. After about a week of searching I realized that my tailgate squeaked when I let it down, I lubricated both hinges for my tailgate and it solved my issue. I don't know if that would help you in any way or not, it sounds like you may have a deeper underlying issue, but it only takes a few seconds to check and may be worth a shot.

Hey bro, the only stupid suggestion is the one I ignore! I'm going to go spray them right now and see if it works on the morning. I've literally sprayed everything I could think of underneath...nothing. Sometimes it's worse than others; for example, when it's dry it's very squeaky. When it rains it's not as bad, which leads me to believe it's some sort of seal, gasket, or bushing. I also heard it may be brake dust, but I power washed my rotors once and it didn't help.
I also noticed that the noise is coming from the front and the back.
At this point, I'll try anything!

Exhaust hanger? Side step/running board mounts? I'm just throwing out suggestions since I have OCD and that would annoy the piss out of me.

Wait, have you checked the dust shields behind the brake rotors? Make sure one of them is not bent slightly and coming in contact with the rotor....

My 2011 does exactly the same thing and it has been getting worse, especially in warmer weather, to the point now that I may be forced to bring it in. One thing I found is that my spare tire wobbles around even when the winch is all the way up as far as it can go. I can make it squeak when I jostle the tire; though this doesn't sound exactly like the squeak I hear over bumps, it may be one of many things. If you determine the cause of your squeak, please do let us know.

Sprayed the exhaust hangers, running boards, and tailgate this morning...still squeaks. I'm beginning to believe it may be the spring isolators in my front struts and rear springs. Can only imagine what that is going to run me...

I'll be sure to. At one point I thought the same, since I have airlines running between that and the floor panel for my airbags. The tire isn't 100% tightened down due to these lines, but it's been making that noise since before I installed my airbags. I'm telling ya, my wife keeps telling me to get rid of the truck because I keep having so many "little issues" with it. At first I'd tell her she's crazy but now I'm kinda thinking about getting rid of it. That's how annoying this squeaking is.

I have this same exact problem every time I hit a bump I get a squeak. Although I mostly hear when ever I have the rear slide window open. Im thinking it may the rubber bouncing around between the cab and bed. Anybody try to see if that was the cause?

That's an interesting theory that I hadn't thought of. But in my case I think I'd have to rule it out because I can hear squeaks coming from all over, not just through the back window.

So...after spraying nearly the entire undercarriage of my truck 3 times, I think I finally figured it out. It was the strut isolators. I sprayed in between the three bolts on the top of the housing, so basically sprayed it down instead of spraying up through the coil. I still hear a slight squeak which sounds like it's coming from the driver side front fender well, but that's MUCH easier to deal with compared to the gosh awful squeak from before!

Sounds like your on the right track. That sh:t will drive you crazy. I just sprayed fluid film on my under carriage thinking nothing will squeek after this... Not that it did before..

So I am having a squeak now too, is varies depending on RPM and sounds like it is coming from the rear. Brakes looks good, and so do U-joints, any ideas? Can only hear it with windows down in areas that reflect sound like a street with a lot of cars or a lot of buildings.

Bro I read your strand when my 2015 Ram 1500 was making high pitch squealing from the rear even more after I changed the brakes. Well... I figured it out... The noise was coming from the plate behind the rotors. The plate was rubbing on the rotors. I am thankful to have figured it out as I was thinking it was my pinion bearing and mentally getting my mind ready to spend a lot of money.
