Damn, maybe I should start working in the fields up there. I work on the rigs in ND and we can't write it off. All company trucks are black boxed/gps'd, otherwise gotta use your own personal vehicle.Damn really? well you have to take into consideration that in B.C n Alberta there are alot of oil field workers that bag the crap out of their truck lol... I mean its all a wright off anywaysHave you checked if there were any re-calls or multiple people having problems with the new drive shafts? Now im curious...
Well thats the only way you can write anything off is if you use your own vehicle for work purposes other then to travel back and forth.Damn, maybe I should start working in the fields up there. no signs really bud! when u hear the moan, ur drive shaft will fall off within 2 seconds... been there done thatany one know of signs to look for or preventative measures?
Were you able to get feedback on what caused your drive-shaft to let go? I agree with other posters, if there is anything preventive, it would be piece of mind, summer is just around the corner, I can only imagine that scenario pulling a TT down the highway. :Wow1:no signs really bud! when u hear the moan, ur drive shaft will fall off within 2 seconds... been there done that

I know very reputable driveline specialist company, they are accustomed to 18 wheel and 4WD builds, I'm going to quiz them while I swap out my diff fluid along with a differential cover upgrade, I think it's a mag-hypertech diff cover?.... can't recall right now, it holds more fluid along with more user friendly upgrades like a dipstick, drain and fill hole etc. Really spooked about the driveshaft deal. Just turned 39K.I agree Otter, I would hate for this happen towing my TT this summer:doh:
Hopefully this is covered under powertrain warranty, I'm coming up to 60K on mine :4-dontknow:
You would think that Dodge would issue a recall for this, I am sure it's a safety issue if your cruising down the highway when this happens...
