2009 Dodge Ram 1500. Both of my 12V power outlets quit working I assume at the same time. One is hot wired to battery and other is not. Doesn't matter if my ignition is on or not. Both 20 amp fuses are good. What is common to both outlets?

On further inspection, the fuses were bad even though they didn't appear to be initially. I'm thinking that an after market trailer brake controller that was installed years ago, could be the culprit. I will find out in about a week when I go back to the trailer maintenance facility.
