I just bought a Power Wagon for an overland rig. To us loyal Ram guys, this is a choice that would be close to the top of anyone's list. I would love a Cummins in my truck, but personally, I work from home, and most of my drives are very short. That said, I wouldn't be able to treat a diesel the way it want's to be treated. So that leaves me to a gasoline engine... so why a Power Wagon?

I cannot actually imagine a better vehicle for an overland rig except maybe a Unimog, which is really more of a tractor than a truck. The Cummins' weight would only be a detriment and would be more complicated to troubleshoot. Any weight you need a Cummins to tow would be ridiculous to be hauling off road.
