I ALWAYS fill up at Canadian tire gas station because everytime I do I get 3-5 bucks in crappy tire money, adds up pretty fast when you do that every week and helps buy tools and such. Anyways went there the other day and they were out of regular so they were selling premium-91- for the price of regular!!! 1.339 a litre (6.02 a gallon) I was pretty stocked for this, its the first time I have ran anything but 87 through my hemi. Didnt do anything for performance and the temperautre is way above seasonal so its hard to see if it made any impact on the MPG's or not but I doubt it. This deal doesnt happen too often usually the fuel truck isnt very far away when it does. Just thought I would share my excitement

Good job, great deal getting 91 for that price. I'm running with the SC 91 tune and my last fill up cost me two arms and a leg LOL. Seriously, it was 1.44 per liter and I was almost Empty. It was the most expensive fillup so far.

I know how you feel Rans, I only run 91 in my sled in the winter, and it hurts everytime I do. I run 91 for performance but also for no ethanol, I have a resistor for the fuel system that is supposed to have no ethanol but I only recently found out that all 91 in Canada has 5% ethanol.

I know there is a big debate about running 87,89, or 91 but do you notice any difference in mpg at all with 91? at the prices they are now it costs about 9 bucks more to fill up with 91 vs. 87. Even if it gave you 0.5 mpg increase it would still be worth the extra 9 bucks as you would end up saving a buck or 2 by my calculation

alot of people say that about crappy tire being crappy... I run 91 in my sled with no issues, if there were issues with it my sled would let me know as fuel injection sleds dont like bad gas. I have never really tried running any other brand of gas, just always run it for the CT money. 1 mpg difference is HUGE just from different stations, I would suspect your local crappy tire still has old tanks that produce condensation or they have something else going on because switching from 87 to 91 wouldnt even yeild 1 mpg, maybe 0.5 at best on the hwy.. From what I have heard Shell's 91 octane is the only 91 that has 0% ethanol instead of 5%... stupid gas

there was a place in town here when I was in mexico that had a glicth like that selling gas for 8 CENTS per litre, so 30 cents per US gallon! I would imagine it didnt last long LOL Down by Toronto last week there was a travel company advertising buy selling gas for 50 cents per litre for the entire day, not as cheap as you showed GTyankee but still very cheap, on the news it showed people lined up for hours! Still love my RAM even if it loves fuel, only car I will ever end up owning again will be one that drinks nearly as much fuel lol
