What size spacer

Hey guys I have a 2005 dodge ram 1500 and I am tired of it having rake, I found these shocks on the internet and I am wondering if they are good. they are called "2 Front Pro Runner Adjustable Shocks and 2 Rear Pro Runner Monotube Shocks" and they are $360 on 4wheelparts.com. I am wondering if these are good or if I need to just get spacers. I wanted to keep my stock handling. I use my truck a little bit, my dad has a dodge 3500 but it has a 100gallon fuel barrel in it and so we use mine, I do tow a 6x12ft fourwheeler trailer sometimes. I am also thinking of getting some helpersprings so it doesn't squat when I throw something in the bed. We went to lows one time and had 13 80lb bags of concret and 20 boards for a porch and my low beams were high beams and my high beams made it look like I was **** hunting, it was shinning in the tops of the trees. My truck is 2wd so no offroading besides some dirtroads. What would be the best bet, I drive it every weekend and am hopefully getting my license this Friday cause it snowed on my birthday, the first time in 2 or 3 years, and the soonest appointment was a month and I don't want to do any thing to affect my handling. :smiley_thumbs_up:

i'm not familiar with the Pro Runners so i cant say... a lot of guys run the Bilstein ride height adjustable ones on here and love'em

Ok, I googled the torsion keys and it says it is only for 4wd. those adjustable shocks will not work on 2 wheel drive, a good spacer should be metal preferably some kind of a metal that will not rust, looking at $100 or so I would stay away from plastic spacers.

Ok, Do you know of a good brand that sells the metal ones? I have only found 2 or 3 and they were very high. Also wat about the thing that rough country has, it looks like all it is is a stiffer or longer spring.

You can run the kit without extensions and I'm sure many people do but you run the risk of maxing out the absorbers. It's really not an issue on roads aside from pot holes but I personally wouldn't feel comfortable with stretched out absorbers.

I didn't look to much into it because I had the extensions so Idk if you need both. I have seen that many people get the front shocks from a 2wd 2500 with the 5.7 hemi because they are 2 inches longer than the stock 1500 shocks but I'm not sure that works on the v6 model.

Ok, and what height spacer do you think I need? I was thinking a 2 inch, but I jacked it up and it was like 3.5 inches, but I think it would be different with the shock being tucked under the truck and on the moving a arm, so 2 inch or 2.5? Also would it be better to get extensions for the stock shocks, shocks for my truck but for a 2 or 2.5 inch lift or get bilstein or rancho 9000 shocks for the 2500 hemi?

A 3" spindle lift from airbagit . com will keep the factory ride, They cost about $299.
Pair it with some nice aftermarket shocks, I prefer Fox or Bilstien.
That is what I did with my 2011 2wd. Also did a 1.25 body lift which is VERY easy to do, and cost $140

What size of a spacer do I need, I don't really want any rake? I was thinking 2 but got it jacked up and measured and got 2.5? I don't want to do spindles, I don't have 700+ dollars to spend, and the cheap ones have some bad reviews.
