If I put my wipers on LOW or HIGH the screen and dash lights all go out. If I return them to the auto sensing mode the lights come back on. Any suggestions Thanks Sandy

You likely have your options set to turn on your headlights with your wipers. When the headlights come on, there is a separate setting for dash lights bightness.
To the left of the steering stalk on the dash panel you will find two side-by-side thumbwheels. Take the one on the right and roll it all the way up to set the dash light intensity to maximum if you want.

What’s the left wheel for? It doesn’t seem to do anything.

It adjusts your ambient lighting. You'll only see the effects when it's dark

Thanks.

To me the definition of “ambient” means the naturally occurring background amount of whatever the subject is; salinity, temperature, etc. So in this instance are they referencing the cup holder light?

Just a guess, but “ambient” seems to be a poor choice of words to me. I really have no idea what “ambient lighting” means in this instance...
