I'm looking to lift my 06 dodge ram 1500 4x4.
Im going with the 6 inch rough country lift kit on 35/12.50r20s.
Just a few questions about it. Will I need anything other than the lift kit to lift it.. like longer brake lines, or longer pitman arm, new steering components Etc etc etc..
I'm already going to replace tie rod ends, upper and lower ball joints, wheel hub assemblies.
next question, if I go with bilstein 5100 adjustable shocks, can I set those at 2 inches in the front end and have an 8 inch lift for the front? Just curious pretty much.
Finally, I want better gears for the gas mileage, which set up for 35s should I look into? I've heard 4.56s were great, but I've also heard that you have to grind on the housing for them to fit.. any and all help would be greatly appreciated.
