I've got a 2014 1500 Express that I've had for about a month now and I've noticed that the power door locks are REALLY loud. They work fine and the noise isn't any of the buzzing or screeching noises I've seen described elsewhere that were a bad actuators, they just make a very loud, echoing clunking noise when locking or unlocking. I'm guessing it's just that the express door panels are plastic and have no noise insulation but has anyone else noticed this and if so, have you had any success in muting it? Maybe some of that stick on noise insulator stuff they use for audio systems applied to the inside of the door panel? My previous truck, a '01 Dakota did not seem to have this issue though and it's door panels were also (mostly) plastic. You could hear them, but it wasn't extremely loud.
