I posted in another thread that my truck sits lower on the drivers side rear by .5 in. snrusnak was very helpful. He suggested I see if anyone else has this issue with there 2012 quad cab. My drivers side is 35.5 from center of fender to ground and passenger side is 40. Also the tags on my rear coils are numbered 802AB drivers and 801AB passenger which are correct for a crew cab but not a quad. Does anyone else know if they have this?

Thanks, DWWhttp://ramforumz.com/member.php?u=21860

im going to make a suggestion, ive only seen about a dozen posts where youve mentioned the issue youre having, yet i dont recall you mentioning speaking with the dealer about it. Your truck is brand new, if the springs are wrong or if theres a suspension problem, the dealer will fix it, you have a warranty. Not trying to sound rude, just giving you my suggestion before more members on here chime and and speculate more, it might be worth a trip to the dealer.

I was just curious and wanted to see if anyone else thought it was worth going to the dealer. It's a little hard to get to the dealer because I work 6 days a week and 5 of those are out of town.Thought I would get a little more info first.

I have the 2009 quad cab
the springs are listed by sales code

ZAMP - spring left front
ZASP - spring left rear
ZNMP - spring right front
ZPSP - spring right rear

I would think that first that all tires have to have the exact air pressure
then the measurement has to be measured from level ground
then you can NOT use a body part as a true measurement
measure from the Rams FRAME to the ground
the frame to body spacers may be different
the spring cushions may be rotated a bit

Don't forget about what side the gas tank is on
1/2 inch is not much
at 6.03 pounds per gallon of gasoline
x 20 gallons
= 120.6 pounds
