I have an 03 ram with 3.92 gear ratio with drum brakes. (no good)
I purchased a 04 rear end with 3.92 ratio with disc brakes. ($150.00)

The obvious question here is whats the best solution to make the new rear end work on my truck.

Thanks.

Generally, rear discs use a different master cylinder and proportioning valve than the drum breaks. Some place like Rock Auto or a local auto store will let you check the part numbers and compare.

I really wanna know how you have an 2003 Ram rear with drum brakes; discs were standard on the 1500 since 2002. Have pics? Sounds like the rear was replaced at one point in it's life with the wrong one.
