I don't see why they couldn't tie it in to the existing system, but I'm not too well versed on the more fancy options like that since I don't have them. Most of the cost is probably going to be the new bumper.

ok, I hope I can be some help on this so maybe somebody can help me.

2. You need to check for the harness under the bumpers to tie this into.
3. You will need to have the powernet cpu updated at the dealership with the flash code that comes in the instructions.
4. If you don't have the harness, fear not, you can buy a body harness or rear harness and tie into what you have, but its a lot of crap to replace.
5. Dash module is needed- I don't have that number now, but I can get it, so you have the two buttons in the dash you can turn on and off the parking distance control. I have one if you really have every other option, I may be wiling to trade.
What I am currently doing is I have a sport RT - came with heated seats, leather and cloth, power drivers only. I got all leather brand new seats from a 2014 Laramie Eco Diesel, I have vented front seats, heated front and rear, and the trailer option brake was added. heated steering wheel I already had. I replaced all the seats and the entire console harness so I now have heated rear seat buttons. I then replaced the module in the dash with every freaking button, but parking doesn't work as I don't have that installed. I had to replace my entire body harness, or most of it as I had no rear power for rear heated seats and I didn't have the correct pin configuration behind the dash module to recognize all those buttons. From there once I had power and network wires everywhere the fun began getting the right codes in the computer. Currently I am still awaiting the codes for the vented seats, my BCM wont take them for some reason and I am now looking into either a whole new BCM or a call to Dodge engineering. My dealership was willing to learn with me on this project.
So, if you have all the buttons you want but not parking distance, I have all the buttons as well, and never plan on using parking distance. I don't know the value of the modules as I bought the whole kit from a guy in Detroit that sells parted out Rams after testing and beta trucks. This is not a project for the faint of heart but its really nice to have options that cost 60K+ on a truck I only paid 45K for, but I would never do this again- hell no, special order the right truck and lease it. Hope that helps!

all black, like new, truck has 1200 miles on it.

I know there was a issue the sensors not being in stock during manufacturing and many trucks couldn't get the park sensors for a period of time. I don't think I have seen a Laramie in the wild without them in my area. Between the rear camera and front/rear park sensors, you almost can't hit any thing. Mine always go off as I pull into my garage when anything is too close to the sides of the truck as well as front and rear.

But after looking a few places it seems that after the fact the only thing you can do is get the factory sensors mounted in the bumpers and then mount this little box inside the cab, it looks hideous and I really wanted to add park assist but I'll only do it if it will function completely factory.
You can add the trailer brake controller afterwards and it works just like it would from the factory, why not park assist?
