so most of us have decided were not real happy about the headlight brightness etc . on our trucks. i was looking at gorecon.com and ran across these. anyone have these and if so what are your opinions on them? they supposedly last 11000 hrs burn cooler than sylvanias which only last about 130 hrs. price is compatable. http://www.gorecon.com/product.php?...VIN-Headlight-Bulbs-in-Platinum-Blue&p_cat=72

I have those they look cool but because they have the blue film around the bulb it makes it a blue color whoch is darker than white (or off white like a factory bulb color) which makes it harder to see....hid is the way to go

thanks for the input. i was looking at some hid and the money isnt the issue as the kits arent that expensive but i did read that they could be illegal in sosme states. that concerned me so i guess ill have to research the laws here and see.

Daggertats... I have the recon diamond white bulbs in my low, highs and fogs and love them. They are very bright, in fact brighter than the blue ones your looking at and compared to stock bulbs,,,, well, no comparison. Until they figure out how to make the HID's not interfer with the tire pressure monitor system I will stick with these.
