I have a 2001 Dodge Ram Sport Regular Cab

I've removed almost all of the panels in my truck except for a few.

I need to get to my rear speakers. That panel is easy, it just pops off like all the others, except for the top. It looks like I need to take off that seatbelt bolt? what type is that? Torkes maybe? Size?

Also I need to get those little black hooks for shelves behind the seats off. How to those come off, do they? They sure don't simply pop off! At least as far as I know...

Thank you.

I don't have a 2001 so I am somewhat guessing at this... but from what I know from working on other vehicles you will need to take the seat belt bolt off in order to get that panel completely off. And yes, the seat belt bolt should be a torx; not sure of the size off the top of my head though.

No idea what to tell you about the shelves. Hopefully someone else will be able to chime in for you on that.

The Torx bit you need I, I think, is a T55. I would suggest using a ratchet to get those bolts out. They're usually lock-tite'd in.

As for the hooks, I BELIEVE, they are a super dense rubber and they are formed around a... plug, for lack of a better term. Get under the edge with a flat tip screw driver and carefully try to pry one away from the surface. Just manipulate it around the edges and see if you can determine how it's affixed to your rig.
