Hi everyone. It has been one of those weeks.....I picked up two nails in one of my tires and one of them of course was in the sidewall. The tire shop will not patch it and a plug will not hold. So that leaves me with buying a new tire.
Anyway, that is not my real question! I realized through this process that Dodge put on a temporary use spare tire on the truck, which I do not like. Has anyone gotten a 20" steel wheel and put a real tire on as a spare? Will it fit under the bed? The nice thing is that a missing TPS sensor will not impair driveability (unlike my Charger did), so I don't need to buy one.
The reason that I ask is that I'm buying 2 new tires and one is still good and I would hate for it to go to waste really, especially when there is a crappy donut back there.
What are your thoughts?
