Reseting the 'oil change reminder' before..

I changed the oil in hemi before the 'oil change' reminder came on. If I go through the reset process will it reset the reminder if it has not yet come on?

I should reset to the beginning even if you did not wait for the reminder to come on. That's what I do and it seems to work.
