I have a 2002 Dodge ram quad cab. 5.9l Gas. I was moving from Colorado to California (I know I know) and ran into a bit of an issue. approximately twice or three times in a ten minute span my truck would rev a couple hundred rpm very quickly and then drop back to where it was cruising. The truck seems to be shifting a little bit hard in the lower gears. It has 112k miles on it. I will try and explain the "Rev" that I was getting. The rev only occurred when on flat ground and cruising at speeds between 65-80.
If anyone has any advice that would be great.

Thanks
Tyler

i would check trans fluid. then while driving i would shift into 5th, trning off mds and see if that eliminated it.
Its an 02 with a 360...no MDS.
wouldn't add sea foam to a new truck.
Its not a new truck. Its an 02...with a 360 V8. and probably over 100k miles.

I would try seafoam.

If you were pushing a bit of a head wind, it is possibly unlocking the convertor to get the increase in torque. :4-dontknow:
