Hmm, Am I correct in thinking this update would already be in place for 2012 Vehicles?

Possibly...depends on the build date...some newer ones could even have a newer update than the 2.120. Easy way to find out...from your menu, go to "system setup", then "system information" and it will tell you what software application you're running.
