I have a 2013 Ram 1500 5.7L V8 with 136,000 miles (roughly)
A week ago I had my check engine light come on with the following codes; P000B, P0304, P0305, P0016, and now a new one P219A
I've replaced the cam sensor, then when I replaced the Crankshaft sensor it wouldn't even start, so I put the old one back. (maybe a dud)
Replaced the spark plugs in cylinder 5 and also the Coil pack, it's still running like absolute crap.
It was initially just running rough, shaking badly but now it has stalled twice, luckily while I was on a neighborhood road where I could turn it off and back on again, this allowed it to run again. I do not have the time to take this thing apart and fix it, as I work 12 hour shifts 5-6 days a week so I'm thinking of taking it to a shop but I'd like to see what I could do on my own time before paying an arm and a leg for someone to do it for me.

Plan on a complete engine replacement if you continue running iron shavings through soft bearing surfaces.

I got a 2010 ram 1500 4.7. It started running rough then miss fired and got really rough. I replaced plugs , wires, lifters and rocker arms? Also had 1 new coil so put it in #6( fix it -said 6&2 miss fired) didn't make any difference?? Guess I will check all the coils tomorrow?? Any idea 💡

Try replacing the VVT control valve: https://www.reddit.com/r/MechanicAdvice/comments/r89c63
