After fighting with the service dept. at my dealer trying to get the noises fixed, I have given up. I did the last oil change myself and that's when I found the cut ball joint dust boot. I sprayed some grease in there until the new part came in. After a few days, the noises I had been hearing stopped. This past Thursday they installed the new control arm/ball joint and the noise returned.
Sad to say I got rid of my 2010 1500 today. It was one of the best trucks I've had.


So, what did I get? A 2012 Powerwagon. So fellas, while I have made great use of all your expertise, I will be moving on.
