Just some info on Sandisk. At least with the USB drives they can be a PITA to deal with because of the security they have pre-installed. In my line of work we tend to make usb drives that are bootable, no can do with most sandisk products. Not sure if this carries over to the SD cards or not as I have never tried.

The update requires a USB drive I would suggest a blank one and going to the uconnect site, down loading the update then decompressing the update onto the flash drive. The you take the drive and insert it into the truck's usb port it will then prompt you to update. I would start the truck prior to the update and it can take from 5 to 20 mins. If you need help let me know.

Keep in mind that the largest capacity that Uconnect officially supports is 32 gb. I have a 64 gb SanDisk SD card that initially gave me no problems. Once I got it about half full (5700 mp3s) it got very flakey. At first restarting my Ram would get it to read. As time went on, it took more restarts, sometimes taking 4-8 hours before it would read again. I gave up with it and put my 32 gb card back in which has given me no problems. Also, the file system that it is formated to makes a difference. The default exfat for 64gb won't work. Try formatting it to fat 32.

This plus there are sporadic issues with Class 10 sd cards, which your Ultra most likely is. Others have had much better luck with lower class cards like a Class 4. I currently use 3 Sandisk 16gb Class 4 cards and have no issues.... other than it not reading subfolders in order. For example, it should read the folders like this:

Folder1
- Subfolder1
- Subfolder2
Folder2
- Subfolder1
- Subfolder2

Mine reads them in total random order. So when the music in Folder1>Subfolder1 ends it should go to Folder1>Subfolder2 but it goes to another random folder instead. Annoying. Just an FYI.

Once you go the the above site this will help in the download as to what you should be looking for:

As for album art on the SD card, that is not a problem, I even remove the album art that comes with the music and put in my own photos.

Here is a photo tutorial I posted awhile back:

I`am using IE 11. I turned off protected mode I still get error message. I was able to download the 14.25.5 from a download site. I could try my daughters Mac to see if it works.

I was never able to get it to work with I.E. 11 (laptop), one reason I am still on I.E. 8 on my main computer, plus I only use I.E. for those sites that prefer I.E.
