You can use the brake booster line. It won't smoke if you don't run it through the intake.

thats why, figured that! Any change you could snap a pic and post it of where it is? Im pretty sure I know just want to make sure, worth picking up another can and running some in there, and then the rest in a new tank of gas?

Sorry for the thread jack, didnt wanna start a new thread. I wanna add some seafoam to the oil right before the oil change. How long do i run the truck and do i drive it or idle/rev? Thanks guys

Just drive it like normal for a couple hundred miles then change. You can leave it till next oil change but I like to do it right away. Use cheap oil for the "flush".

thanks for the info. im gettin close to needing an oil change so i figured i would run about half a bottle in it and change it. whats the least amount of time i need to run it with it in there?

awesome, thanks man. work sucks right now and i dont have extra cash, even for cheap oil. i just want to clean it out a bit and see if she runs better

Greetings. The treatment mentioned in the begining of this post where Seafoam is ran through the brake hose and then in the tank, would that be safe for an engine that has 120,000 miles on it that are mostly put on, while on the interstate?

I so need to do this! To bad I am aboiut 2k away from an oil change. I bought an '03 just over a year ago and came across the site a few months back. Not sure how the original owner maintained the truck, but it seem pretty clean underneath. (other than a mystery coolant leak..for a different thread.)
I'll let you all know how it goes when I get paid next week.
So I can still do this in just the intake ans fuel tank right, or is it best to poor a half/full bottle into the oil as well? I have over 108,000 miles on it and NEED to do some mods. Loving the site!
