Hi all,
New to the forum, been getting some great info for a while now, finally registered and have a quick question.
I had to remove the intake manifold off my 2009 Ram 5.7L, mice got under it so wanted to make sure nothing flammable was left in their, so decide to remove the manifold, clean it out, had to replace that molded foam insert since they chewed that to pieces.
I'm following the service manual and it does not specify to use any RTV or similiar sealant on the gaskets, so before proceeding with putting every thing back together wanted to check...........do I need to use RTV to seal the intake gaskets or not necessary?
thanks
