Another one here.
My 2018 2500 6.4 4x4 CCSB had the ABS and TC lights come on and the Service Electronic Braking System/ Service Antilock Braking System panel warnings come on during 4x4 operation in deep snow. It stayed on for 4 days, then flashed on and off several times before staying off for several days. This morning toward the end of a highway off ramp, it came on again under heavy braking. It went off at the next signal, then came on several more times in just a few blocks before I reached my destination. When I backed into a parking space and shifted to park it turned off again. Everything was normal on the trip home. This is a bit frustrating as my truck has only 28k miles and is impeccably maintained.

I remember having a similar issue on my ‘07 2500 hemi 4x4, but it was older and had more miles. In that instance it turned out that the front axle U joints were binding, which wiped out the (already marginal) wheel bearings from vibration, causing the speed sensors to give faulty readings when braking. That ended up disabling the ABS and cruise control. That truck didn’t have traction control. The U joints were covered under powertrain warranty, but I got to pay for the bearings and ball joints to complete the job.

2018 Ram 2500 6.4hemi
42k miles

Evic began intermittently pinging and says to "service electronic braking system" and "service abs system". It first happened about 3 months ago. Did it the first time right after the warranty expired of course, but didn't do it again for several weeks. Now it it seems to come on all the time. I assume from reading all the forums that the abs and/or hcu module is bad. Scheduled an appointment with the dealer for this week to be sure.

How complicated would this be to replace myself? I'm pretty handy, can fix most anything. What kind of cost will I be looking at from the dealer?

This seems to be a pretty common issue from everything I've read online. Why has Ram not recalled the obviously junk part? When/if the dealer replaces it, will they replace it with the manufacturers same junk part that will have to be replaced again in 40k miles?
Our 2017 1500 with 67563 miles has the same two messages. Being retired senior citizens it will be parked if it costs more than a couple hundred dollars to fix. I'll continue following this message stream.

Our 2017 RAM 1500 with 67567 miles began displaying the same two messages today. Like others have mentioned the cruise control won't work. If it will cost more than a couple hundred to fix this retired Vet will have to park the truck and save up a while. I'll continue to follow the thread.

I have a 2017 ram 2500 doing the same thing now. At 40000 miles I had both the module and control replaced for $280 for both parts in 2020 to be on a 6 month waiting list so far have not received and now the parts are over $1000 total bs. Ram knows there is major problem with these parts now they are gouging customers.

I am posting this on any thread concerning this problem.
Anyone who has this problem please file a complaint with NHTSA: Report a Safety Problem | NHTSA
Due to the many complaints this is being investigated, and any specific details could help in the investigation. https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/inv/2022/INOA-PE22012-9925.PDF
If the truck throws code C0020-01, which most do with this problems, the TSB for the fix is at: S2005000004 RAM Technical Service Bulletin
As you know the parts are the big problem and over the last year both the ABS module and the HCU have been on back order a number of times. The part number for the HCU changed in the last year suggesting the part has been upgraded. Maybe someone else has some idea of the latest on parts availability.. You can also contact @ramcares as they can provide some help.

O Yea this is exactly what is happening with my 2018 Ram with 28,500 miles its been flashing for about 1000 miles although more recently I have been hunting on rough roads. Filled out info for class action suit and will see in a couple days what dealer has to say and how much. Not a happy camper reading the response from everybody with same problem and Dodge knowing about problem thus causing a class action suit. Power to the people
Where can you see to join the class action lawsuit reply here or to my email [email protected]

Just posted in another forum, but adding here: - I'll follow-up with the links above and add to the growing list of complaints on this one.

Welp... add me to the list. We were driving back from Pittsburg to Louisville and almost home down a hill on the expressway (I-71) when the ABS and Traction Control lights came on and a message to service the trailer braking system popped up. Worst of all the Cruise Control just shut off and we were nearly run over by the semi behind us. Anyways, we got home alright and I started researching the issue which landed me here.

I contacted the dealer and received two different answers as to if it was covered under my warranty (Front Desk said Yes, Service Tech - who was new - said No). The vehicle is a 2017 RAM Rebel that I purchased certified pre-owned and it have 65k miles. Power train warranty is good until Nov of this year and up to 100k miles.

They scheduled me in for mid April for Evaluation.
