Hey,I HAVE THE SAME ISSUE WITH MY 2018 3500 DIESEL 4X4 CAN YOU HELP ME ?
Our 2017 1500 with 67563 miles has the same two messages. Being retired senior citizens it will be parked if it costs more than a couple hundred dollars to fix. I'll continue following this message stream.2018 Ram 2500 6.4hemi
42k miles
Evic began intermittently pinging and says to "service electronic braking system" and "service abs system". It first happened about 3 months ago. Did it the first time right after the warranty expired of course, but didn't do it again for several weeks. Now it it seems to come on all the time. I assume from reading all the forums that the abs and/or hcu module is bad. Scheduled an appointment with the dealer for this week to be sure.
How complicated would this be to replace myself? I'm pretty handy, can fix most anything. What kind of cost will I be looking at from the dealer?
This seems to be a pretty common issue from everything I've read online. Why has Ram not recalled the obviously junk part? When/if the dealer replaces it, will they replace it with the manufacturers same junk part that will have to be replaced again in 40k miles?
Our 2017 RAM 1500 with 67567 miles began displaying the same two messages today. Like others have mentioned the cruise control won't work. If it will cost more than a couple hundred to fix this retired Vet will have to park the truck and save up a while. I'll continue to follow the thread.2018 Ram 2500 6.4hemi

Hannah - I'm unable to locate the prior thread about the ABS light issue for my 3500. Finally able to get an appointment with the dealer. Unable to PM as I don't have enough posts - best way to reach you or you to me? TIA Barry

I found a link and a phone call in another post, the number is 866 726-4636
Where can you see to join the class action lawsuit reply here or to my email [email protected]O Yea this is exactly what is happening with my 2018 Ram with 28,500 miles its been flashing for about 1000 miles although more recently I have been hunting on rough roads. Filled out info for class action suit and will see in a couple days what dealer has to say and how much. Not a happy camper reading the response from everybody with same problem and Dodge knowing about problem thus causing a class action suit. Power to the people
Just posted in another forum, but adding here: - I'll follow-up with the links above and add to the growing list of complaints on this one.
Welp... add me to the list. We were driving back from Pittsburg to Louisville and almost home down a hill on the expressway (I-71) when the ABS and Traction Control lights came on and a message to service the trailer braking system popped up. Worst of all the Cruise Control just shut off and we were nearly run over by the semi behind us. Anyways, we got home alright and I started researching the issue which landed me here.
I contacted the dealer and received two different answers as to if it was covered under my warranty (Front Desk said Yes, Service Tech - who was new - said No). The vehicle is a 2017 RAM Rebel that I purchased certified pre-owned and it have 65k miles. Power train warranty is good until Nov of this year and up to 100k miles.
They scheduled me in for mid April for Evaluation.

Right there with you. At least its bearable now.Hate to hear you are having the same issue. Mine has 47 k was told it wasn’t a covered under Powertrain. As an aside i pulled a fuse 26and the ding went away with each time the light went off
