Hey I’m new to this but I’m been having major issues with my ram rebel, it started with the truck shifter not working at all had to get the truck towed. The dealer said fuse 42 in the interior was blown ,it was replaced and the next day the same issue happened I brought it back to the dealer. They said the fuse box had loose connections and that it was fixed ,a day after the exact same issue ,service shifter warning and no power to shifter module and fuse 42 blown again! I’m spending a lot of money for nothing. I took the module out today and notice these wires cut and spliced together is there a reason for this because I can not think of a reason to be cutting wires and splicing them together. Any answers would help a lot .

There was a guy on here a few years ago thar said kept getting the same error message. He replaced the shifter dial and didn't have an issue after that. But I don't recall him mentioning anything about the wires or splicing though...
