My 2014 Ram 1500 Limited doesn't have signal lights showing in the side view mirrors. Are there any dealer or after market mods that can add this feature?
If Chrysler, Dodge and Ram are listening why go cheap on some simple and low cost safety features like turn signal indicators in side view mirrors and daylight running lights in US trucks. Shame on you guys!

That seems strange, even my '09 SLT has Puddle Lamps on the outside mirrors

They blink when the signal lights are working & they come on when my doors are opened, so you can see where you are stepping

I agree that Chrysler products should have the option to have DRLs, i think that they are just about the only manufacturer that does not let the owner choose to use them or not.
Even the traffic court judge could not believe it, just before he told me how much i had to pay for not having them on in a Daylight Headlight Safety Zone a couple miles from where i live. My Ram was only a couple months old & i believed that of course it had DRLs, just like my 1999 Chevy had them

The lamps in the mirrors are part of the "Luxury Group" not sure about all body styles but on my Big Horn it also included: garage opener in the overhead console, auto dimming mirrors, the upgraded gauge cluster with the bigger EVIC, sun visors with illuminated mirrors and power heated mirrors.

Not sure if they will plug and play in a truck that doesn't have the group but I would think that's a question for your salesman (if he's well informed) or maybe the parts counter guy.

Ya my 09 big horn and lone star both had the puddle lamps. My 13 even had power fold mirrors.

Are you meaning the lights in the actual mirror or the ones on the front/bottom of the mirror housing?
