Hey all, there are few threads out there, but Im looking for current intel. My trial is ending and I am thinking of renewing my service. Currently they are offering 6 months for about 29 dollars a month.
The guy on the phone said that there are some better deals out there for annual subscription, but he needs info from me to be able to access them. Anybody on here renewed recently and got a killer deal????????

If so, what were the details?

****
I renewed for $86 a year....$100.10 with all fees included.

Done.

$29 a month isn't right; it should be 1/2 that. Then, you can usually better than that by paying for 6 or 12 months in advance.

I paid about $79 for the year.

$29.00 a month?? Not sure who's quoting that price but it's way out of line, if you go to Sirus's website the most expensive I see is $19.99 a month, you can get 70 channels of music for $9.99 a month. Have you gone to Sirus's website??

I seem to see mention of a $77 a year renewal price. Anybody got that price lately? I would prefer to lock in at that price for a year and be done than to have to mess with it again in a few months.

Okay, just renewed. Called 1-866-635-2349 and setup my account. Had my ESN number for the radio.
Final price was for $86 a year. (You gotta ask for the price!!!)

After taxes and fees it came out to $110.10.

So, me happy!

I got the 1 year deal of $77 in March of 2011. They wanted to bill my credit card, but I told them I don't use the card for purchases over the phone or internet. They balked on giving me the deal and I told them that I would just listen to my free local stations. They put me on hold and then afterwards told me they would send me an invoice bill for the amount.

I had heard that the credit card deal was a way for them to renew your subscription for full price after the 1 year time-frame, if you didn't call them and cancel.

I had 2 subscriptions. My wife decided to lose hers because she listened to her iPod mostly. Sirius kept bugging me with a half off deal to bring hers back on line. Fast forward to my renewal time. I decided to let mine run out and see what happens. I listened to regular radio for about two weeks before...BAM...there it was in the mail...half off for a year. I wonder how many times I can get away with that?

Probably every year until they change their policy. You can usually get the deal just by calling and threatening to cancel. i did it twice with my old radio and just did it a few mos. ago with the radio in my ram. Tell them you keep hearing about the 1/2 off for a year deal and that you'll cancel if you don't get the same deal. If you can't get it cancel and in two weeks you'll get the offer. I still get offers for the radio I turned off 8 mos. ago when I got my Ram.

I just signed up for the 6 mo for $29.99 deal. The catch is that it automatically renews at $14.99 per month, but you can cancel at any time.

I have set up a reminder on my phone to call and cancel at the end of the 6 months. My plan at that time is to tell them that I am used to paying $5 a month and I will go no higher.

Make sure you call at least a couple of weeks prior to the expiration. They don't send you a bill they just renew and it is always before the time is up. Cancel and just tell them to let it run out. If you don't get an offer when you're on the phone you will before the 6 months end.

i got the lifetime member ship with all the channels for 750 and they will split it up into 4 payments and can be transfered up to 10 times that in my opinion is the best deal
Are they charging for the transfers? That can be one of their interesting hidden fees.
