I havent looked to hard at it yet,,,but has any one removed the sliding drawer in the lower center dash ?? im considering trying to mount my C.B in that spot,,,any one ??? thanks for any info,,,,

not exactly related but I'm planning to put an aftermarket brake controller inside the tray so it's out of the way, I don't haul the big trailer that often. Drilled a hole in the back left corner of the tray so it's a short hookup to the brake connector.

thats an awesome idea guys if you do post some pictures i was planning on putting in a cb in mine in the future.

you will need to remove the bezel that covers the radio
first buy a couple of plastic trim removal tools, they come in handy for several things on newer vehicles, like the door panels, etc.

no i did not mount it in the lower drawer,,,the radio i run is an export radio and is too big for whats behind all the plastic,,,but a stock small CB may fit in there,,much easier,,, I USED A pedastal mount and an old radio shack hump mount,combined them together now the face of the radio is right in front of the center armrest/console in front of the drink holders,,,perfect what i do
