I am....er was in the process in installing my new Sure Steps. The process called for removing the body mount bolts in the front and rear. I was able to get 3 of the 4 needed out. The 4th in on the Driver side rear. That thing will not budge. I tried a socket and impact wrench, neither worked.

I am not sure what to try with out risking breaking the bolt. I added some WD40 but there is not a way to get to the threads.

Any ideas? :thk:

I'm assuming you're referring to the cab mounts? If you're careful try heating the head of the bolt only with a torch (keeping in mind that it passes through a rubber mount so be careful!) If that doesn't free it up I'd try a breaker bar; there's no way in the world you're gonna break the bolt, so get a long bar on your wrench and give it a go.

Just an FYI, I was doing the same thing a few weeks ago and i had a stuck bolt also. tried PB blaster a few times but it just would budge so i started using a breaker bar and low and behold i got it truned a few revolutions when the bolt broke off. I now have about and inch of bolt left in there. It's been at the shop since yesterday so we'll see if they can get it out..:smiley_thumbs_up: Never say Never...
