Looking at low-cost options for plowing a 300ft driveway near Chicago area. What are others using to plow their driveways? Not looking for anything too commerical, would just be plowing my own driveway.

Look into a used quad runner or small tractor with a blade, It will cost you less than a decent blade for your truck and save mounting it also.

I used a Yamaha 350 Big Bear with 60" blade for many years until I bought an Kubota RTV900. I'm north of you in Michigan and you can have fun with the quad or tractor during the other months. I usually clear over 1500 feet of driveway between mine and my neighbors.
