The light won't go out because each individual sensor ID has to be programmed into the WIN. As for the 09-10 being interchangable, I would think they are but can't say so with 100% certainty.
so pissed off regarding tires and rims
I recently found a guy locally in my area who purchased a 2010 Quad Cab 1500 with the exact same tires and aluminum rims as mine on my 2009 Ram i offered him $ 800.00 buck cash for all 4 rims and tires he accepted. his rims and tires only have 50 kilometers on them he drove the truck from the dealer to the tire shop and bought new rims and tires the same day
But heres the kicker i called my dealer thinking i should be able to swap my tires and rims with his and keep my old set.
Dealer tells me i can not do that because the Tpm's in the 2009 and 2010 are different i called there bluff went to the guys house removed one of my tires and put one of his on they were right the light will not go out i said can you not reprogram them he laughed and said anything is possible for the right price but they would have to upgrade my computer and even then they will not guarantee it

I've had the same issue with 2008 and 2010 sensors. Having to dish out $250 to get the four new sensors and have them put on.

you should be able to swap over your old sensors to the new wheels i havent seen a sensor that you couldnt move to another wheel especially a factory one!
