Hello all.
I have a 2008 4.7L with 35k on it. I just changed my 30k plugs,(bosch FR8TE2)
I did not use any anti-seize on the threads and torqued to 20 ft lbs.
I usually use anti-seize on everything but i didnt this time.
My question is this:
It seems that by using seize you can actually torque plugs to a higher value.
The silver stuff,carbon?
Does anybody have any recommendations on what kind of anti-seize to use? (i know a little about cold welding and am a little afraid). I know some plugs do not require it if coated. Any ideas or recommendations? Thank you.

I used anti-seize but I just tightened mine to the calibrated elbow. Never even thought about the torque ratings.

I will have to do mine again soon. What should they be torqued to?
