My 2014 Ram 2500 has started making poping and cracking sounds that are coming from the front speakers only. It is an interemittent problem and occurs when using radio,Bluetooth or iPod . The dealer tried a software update but that did not fix the problem. They have ordered new speakers but I am not sure that is the problem. Any suggestions?

I had that problem on my 2011 Laramie 2500. The dealer had to replace the unit. The big thing was I lost my Sirius subscription. My truck was a month old,so I had 11 months left.
My new radio only had a 30 day subscription. Chrysler would not honor the remaining time.

I've had a popping/static noise when listening on USB. It only started after the dealer did an update back in the fall. I brought it back last week, and they decided to order a new radio.

We'll see how that goes once it's in.

After another update and new front speakers, the problem persists. The dealer ordered a new amplifier. We will see how that goes.
