I have an 08 Ram and I've been lookin for a couple months and the best price I could find for a steel hood is around $600. I have heard bad things about the fiberglass copies. I would buy the hood scoop but I think they are a little tacky and the seam looks awful. Should I be looking at junk yards or will the internet be the best place?

ebay is your friend junk yards aint bad but if the truck got hit hard it can mess the hood up so it wont bolt on right even if it still looks good.
if ya go with the junk hard plan bring the tools to try it on your truck b4 you buy it. the fiberglass hoods have come a long way but i dont know much about them but odds are some one on here has one and can give ya more info than me.
