I don't know what scale you measure pressure with, but you should have 45 psi of fuel pressure, and rock steady under all conditions, its measured from the coupler on the fuel inject rail on top of the engine. I made my tester from a fix a flat tire sealant hose and coupler with a custom 'pin pusher ' for the schrader valve in the end of the hose, made from a pop rivet, and a gauge with an extension hose, so the gauge could be read from the drivers seat. Also, ignition coils fail without warning, about as often as a politician earning their pay, but it does happen. An electric fence tester is an easy to see shock free testing device for that, cost about the price of a six pack of beer at a harwar store that farmers go to.
