For a few weeks now, when I turn more than 90 my steering wheel will act like I hit a rock for a split second and resist the last part of the turn. I checked the front end but I really dont know enough about suspensions to know what I'm looking at other than the coil and shock. I suspect is my detroit engineered steering shaft(pictured below). The adapter didnt work so after 3 hours of drilling with no success I attached it permanently. Could this be the culprit?
