I have a 2013 RAM 1500 4x4 5.7.
I have some odd noises related to the steering, while stopped. I hear a popping creaking noise from the front, as well as a little bit of creak from the rear. Now this ONLY happens when in gear. If the truck is in Park its quiet. You don't notice it in the feel of the steering wheel, nor do you really hear it inside the truck, but outside its quite noticable. I have the electric PS.
Don't notice any issues driving, and recently had the rear diff pinion seal replaced, and one of the control arms, plus alignment.
Its just strange because why would it make noises only in D or R and not in Park..makes me think its steering related, but nothing related the steering itself.
Any ideas?
