I'm look for a good solution to put a sub under the rear seat of my '14 quad cab that is cheaper than the JL stealthbox. I've come up with two possibilities. One from BBox and one from Fox Acoustics. Click on the brand name for links to the individual products.

I am curious if anyone has used either of these and what they thought about them. As for what sub to load it with, I have some ideas, but I am open to suggestions.

I have the 2-12 Ported Fox box and it's ridiculous. A lot more bass than what I expected. It's built well and they also include the seat spacers which is nice. I opted for the optional cup holder and upgraded terminal cups, which I suggest. Overall its a really nice box, relatively cheap and I'd certainly buy one again... The only negative I can think of is the shipping is a bit slow, so factor that into your build time.

I just recently purchased a single 12" vented Fox Box. I couldn't be happier. I have a Rockford Fosgate Power T750/1 driving an Alpine R-Series 12. I like all kinds of music...basically everything but some of the newer hop hop. SQ is excellent, and if you want it to, it will get very low and loud! It is perfect for my taste. I've auditioned just about everything music wise, and have found no flaws with the sub or box. I would definitely purchase another one if need be. I recommend the vented enclosure over the sealed. Fox Acoustics was easy to deal with and they shipped the box six days after I ordered online. The box arrived 24 hours after it shipped.

I have an acquaintance that had a custom enclosure built for a single ported 12 in the exact same vehicle. He is driving it with a JL RD900/5. My sub, in this box, ran off of the Rockford Power 750/1 sounds significantly better than his set up, and his sounds nice. Of course, I have twice the power, so that helps. He also spent close to $900 just for the enclosure. Dollar for dollar, I don't see how you could beat the Fox Box. On top of everything, it looks really nice. I think it set me back $150 shipped. Again...I couldn't be happier.

Awesome feedback! I was leaning toward the fox box, but y'all made me feel a lot better about pulling the trigger. I'll probably go with a single 12". Should be plenty for me inside a truck cab. Are you all running grills over your subs? if so, which ones?

The grill wasn't "necessary", but I wanted to protect my investment...so yes, using a grill. Most speaker manufacturers make one specific to their woofers. Again, go with the ported enclosure (with plenty of power)...you can thank me later.
