Hey all - wanted to get opinions on Superlift vs BDS. The local dealer here is pushing BDS really hard and saying Superlift is crap. Spoke with another dealer and they said Superlift is great - same quality as BDS. I ordered a 4" Superlift kit for $1476 with Bilsteins - he is asking over $2k for the BDS with Fox shocks. Question is, do I cancel and go with BDS - is it really worth the extra $500+??

While we're at it, he's also asking $750 for install on the BDS. Seems high to me - what you think about that?

Any advice is welcomed.

Thanks in advance!

Don't know if it matters but, last week I was at 4 Wheel Parts getting some stuff and they mentioned that they are no longer selling Superlift. The manager said that they are in bad shape financially, unknown why but might be best to go for the BDS, or Rancho. I just put my 4" Rancho on, it's a beefy fully welded subframe thats one unit as opposed to the BDS or Superlift. The kit also has nice stainless steel brake lines instead of cutting the factory frame attaching mount.

I heard the same thing about Superlift. I personally went with a BDS kit.

I'd be leery of Superlift right now.

The above is the exact same info we got as we were trying to negotiate for better pricing and our current suppliers are breaking their agreements with Superlift.
That price sounds like they are trying to blow it out as we cannot even compete with that and we have GREAT pricing on lifts.
Superlift is a fantastic kit, but if the company was to ever go belly, up, you would be SOL for parts.

That said. we provide all the major lift brands and we sell alot of RCX and BDS
As of late BDS has made a surge for us and we strongly recommend it for the simple reason of quality (on par with SuperLift), lifetime warranty and their customer service (most of them) are good.

If you need pricing on BDS, let me know
We have set up quite a few rams here with BDS and many of them are beginning to pop up with pics.

Fudrock is one of them....we are just waiting on his pics ;)

Just to add to this....that pricing you got is similar to a 4" RCX lift with Bilsteins added.
So be leary as to why they are selling it so low. In my opinion, they are clearing it out.

That being said....the quality and lift is still good. As mentioned its a great kit.
But IF something goes wrong, can you get it warrantied for parts.

If they were doing well like BDS, I would say go for it. Especially at that price.
But that kit retails for $1850-$2050 depending where you buy it from.

Just my 2 cents

Also, that lift price for install is reasonable....it ranges between $750-$1000

Since they didn't go out of business afterall, would this still be a good kit to purchase?
