Hey y'all,

While working on my brakes, I noticed that my front sway bar bushings are old and broken—probably a result of having 225k miles on the car. I suspect the rest of the suspension bushings and rubber parts are also overdue for replacement, but I'm not sure what exactly needs to be replaced.

I found a package here, but I can't justify paying $534 for a set of rubber pieces that I imagine would cost around $50-100 on RockAuto. Does anyone have a list of the parts I should replace, or can you confirm if the package contents are accurate?

Thanks!

Also, are there any other similar parts that I need to check/replace? I have a whole list of fluids and filters that I'm going to go thru and check next time I get the chance, as I never did that when I purchased it ~3k ago.

Those are poly urethane bushings, looks like it's a kit to replace all the suspension bushings in the truck (control arms, sway bars, shocks, etc). If looking to make a canyon carver out of it, then they are better than rubber ones. But you will feel a rougher ride and if not greased correctly, will squeak.

Just me, I'd stick with rubber ones. And if your control arm bushings are wasted, you can buy complete control arms with bushings and ball joints already installed for lot less than that kit is.

Yeah- most I'd be doing is some fun roads at night haha. I may just go ahead and order the control arms when I'm ready. I assume just buying the whole thing and bolting it in is easier than replacing each of those individual bushings? Does a complete control arm cover all the bushings I need, or do I need to order some other parts with it?
