I recently replaced my 2013 cloth lonestar seats for supposedly a 2013 laramie takeoff but now my service air bag light wont go off. Everything is plug in correctly. Passenger only had on connection which was yellow and that plugged in perfectly. I now have power seats that works on my passenger and before it was just manual so I know power is going to the seats. My original seats had a tab stating srs airbag but these seats do not. So I believe these are not from a 2013. Is there a way to make the light go off or disable the sound. Thanks in advance.

The yellow connecter on the pass side I would assume is to be to disable that dash airbag if seat is unoccupied.
Without SRS in the new seats your whole airbag system is disabled when the dash light is on. You may be able to get the seats flashed into the computer at the dealer :4-dontknow:
Otherwise I would be concerned about insurance liabilty in an accident.

did the drivers seat have the yellow plug also? If not thats your problem. The yellow plugs are for the airbags. I upgraded my seats a few months ago and have the same problem. Ive chose to just live with the light and the one beep when the truck starts.

Yeah, the driver seat has the yellow plug as well. If the dealer can't flash the seats, guess I will just have to live with the light. The only thing my beeps 3-4 times every 10min or so.

Have you tried get the dealer to flash the warning?
