Here's what I got going on. I have a 1984 d100 custom with a /6 with a 4 speed. I had to do some rigging to get it going just not enough power for me. I just can't decide whether I want a 318, 360, 350 v8 or just putting a cummins. I'm not going for major horsepower just a nice little rumble you know. So my question is what is the easiest way to do this?

If it's a slant 6, you can do a lot. Cam, 4 bbl carb, ported head, high compression pistons., dual exhaust, headers. Friend of mine has a Dart GT with the hot slant 6, it will rip. Exhaust sounds like a Porsche 911. You can also put on a Procharger or a turbocharger. All motors in 1984 were turds.Put a few bucks into it, she'll scream. BTW, I got my ass handed to me in high school, my 62 Chevy SS SBC V8 vs Dodge Dart slant six with the factory power pack. Cleaned my clock. www.slantsix.org
