hi i have a 1999 ram 1500 4x4 with 3.5in coil spacers and bolcks for lift and i just replaced the tie rods and tie rod ends with aftermaket. when i put it all back together and counted the threads to align it again the new tie rods had longer threads so the count wasnt worth anything. now the steering wheel is off center and tracks all wierd. is there any tricks i could do to straighten it out myself other than taking it to a shop and having them do it?

i would recommend going to the shop, but you could always cowboy it and pull out a measuring tape and adjust till the outside of the front and the outside of the back of the front tires measure the same, its no perfect alignment but it better then nothing.
