So this only seems to happen when it is around 20 degrees celsius and warmer and it is 100% not the belt. I have been under the truck with a stethoscope and as far as i can tell it is loudest on the bell housing. I have spoken with a few dealerships and a couple of my mechanic friends and their suspicions were all the same as mine so I have the torque converter on the way for Wednesday or Thursday but i was just wondering if this is common. Thx for any input

More information would help, like what transmission you have.

Is it a 2500, 1500, Hemi, Cummins?

Ok so 65 RFE transmission. That's not normal, and howling isn't something I've heard of. Around 2011 or 2012 there were some that'd chatter when decelerating
